Carole Rennison - Hooked by Design
Rug hooking, a popular 19th century craft in Britain and America has caught the imagination of people today and is experiencing an exciting revival. Hooking is as easy to master as cross-stitch, embroidery, tapestry or any other sewing related craft. The technique is simple: just pull loops of yarn through the hessian weave and create beautiful rugs, cushions or pictures in next to no time.

Chainsaw Sculptor Using chainsaws of varying sizes and powertools I create sculptures from green wood, these can be stumps left in the ground or logs from trees that have been felled. My dad Tim Burgess taught me how to make owls and since then I have been pushing myself to make better and more elaborate sculptures. Jonathan will be demonstrating the art of turning wood into works of art throughout the day.

The wool acts as a built-in flannel and gently exfoliates your skin leaving in wonderfully soft. We also have a range of other luxury lanolin-enriched products that are made to a traditional Yorkshire formula that we know you will enjoy.
The inspiration for the crochet range of designs came from my grandmother. A few years ago I decided it was time to take up the craft that had fascinated me as a child, and I instantly loved it. When I then began using silver clay to make jewellery, I quickly realised it was a perfect medium to preserve and present crochet in a new contemporary way. My jewellery is made in large part from fine 99% pure recycled silver, with sterling silver for the more 'functional parts' (earring wires, hoops, chains).
